Three working libraries built for the questions we hear every week from individuals and small-business clients in Winston Salem, Valdosta, and the larger North Carolina and Georgia area. None of these are a substitute for personalized advice on your specific situation, but each is the kind of reference we lean on ourselves when a question gets a little larger than a fifteen-minute conversation can cover.
WORKING LIBRARIES
Pick the library that fits your question
The calculators page gives you a categorized catalogue with plain-English notes about each tool's inputs, outputs, and honest caveats. The investment-strategies page moves from numbers to portfolio decision-making — allocation by age, asset placement, harvesting rules, and a year-end checklist. The tax-guides page is a curated reading list of the IRS and state-DOR publications we hand to clients most often, with a short summary for each.
All three are written in M&M's standard plain-English voice. Each is meant to help you ask better questions at your next appointment and to keep our shared conversations focused on your specific numbers rather than background reading. If you send a copy to a family member or a partner, the goal is the same: a calmer, more informed April — and a more productive conversation throughout the year.
Financial Calculators
A working catalogue — mortgage, retirement, savings goal, debt payoff, ROI, payroll cash-flow, Child Tax Credit, capital-gains, Roth-vs-Traditional breakeven, and 529 growth — with honest caveats about what each one measures.

Every page in this section is part of an ongoing reference. Numbers, brackets, and thresholds are checked quarterly and refreshed whenever the IRS publishes an annual revenue procedure or when either state's general assembly adjusts a rate. If a number on one of these pages is the difference between two decisions for your situation, please confirm it against the year-specific source before relying on it. Where appropriate we link out in plain text to IRS pages and the NC and GA Departments of Revenue.

READY TO ACT?
Turn one of these references into a plan for your numbers
A 30-minute conversation with one of our senior advisors usually uncovers at least one specific move you can make this week — whether that is running a Roth-conversion sizing exercise, picking the right retirement-account contribution order, or organizing the records the IRS or your state may ask for later.
